I usually preview a wedding shortly after the wedding day with a few favorite images that jump right out at me. This wedding however had so many amazing moments that I had the hardest time choosing which to feature. Kate and Dave are a wonderful couple full of kindness, humor and a romance that goes back to high school days.
Kate requested that her fall wedding at the beautiful Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge be a documented story with a lot of candid moments instead of formal portraits because she and her husband to be just couldn't wait to get the party started!
It was so much fun capturing the emotions of this beautiful day. Some of the highlights included:
~A million surprise moments from the bridesmaids creating last minute personalized sweatshirts to a flash dance mob that was one of the best orchestrated gifts I have ever witnessed. Kate's reaction is something that brings a smile to my face every time I think of it.
~A visit from their beloved puppy; Lenny. Everyone wanted to smooch him up.
~An epic rapping bride and groom intro and a dad who was not only brave enough to sing with the band; he was also included in a very hysterical and touching video featured before the father/daughter dance. The guests COULD NOT STOP LAUGHING. :)
~One of the nicest and prettiest locations in Cambridge. It was also the Head of The Charles which added a new level of picturesque.
~One of the best bands I have ever heard. Seriously so so good. Check out the Felix Brown Band. You will not regret it.
~So very much dancing! This group knows how to have fun.
It was quite the night. Thank you for including Charlie Little Photography in your day Kate and Dave, It was one we will never forget!
